Acupressure points for the hands

There many important acupressure points in the hand; And these points are extensively connected to different organs of the body. As you can see in this figure, these points are easy to find by yourself. Many believe in the benefits of a good massage on hands, from reducing headache to inducing labor; and simply trying for once is not a bad idea.

One of the examples of the benefits of acupressure points is for inducing contractions during labor. Watch this short video to learn more about acupressure during labor:

“LI 4 is located between the thumb and index finger. Due to it’s descending action, this point is especially effective for helping induce labor and easing labor pain during contractions. Many people also use this point for relief from headaches. Continual massage through contractions is very helpful. For induction alternate LI4 with SP 6 on the leg, in 10 minute intervals.”
